As the dust cleared from Saturday’s wrestling competition, the Todd County Falcons stood alone having unseated Pine Ridge as Lakota Natioin wrestling champions. 

Coach Steve DeNoyer’s squad put five wrestlers into the final matches. 

Jacob Wike (106), Jordan Poignee (126), Dylan Riley (138), Tristan Janis (152) and Galen Boltz (170) all wrestled in front of the big crowd on the Civic Center’s main floor just prior to the championship basketball games.

Wike, Poignee, Janis and Boltz all claimed individual titles as the Falcon earned their first team title in a few years.
