Teresa Larvie May 27, 1951 – August 9, 2014
Teresa Clara Larvie came into this world on May 27, 1951 to William ‘Bill’ Larvie and Angeline Bordeaux in White River, SD. She grew up down by the Little White River. Teresa loved the country, although she did leave for vocational training to attend a beautician school in San Francisco, CA in 1971. She stayed there for 3 years before returning to her hometown of White River.
Teresa lived a peaceful country life and was always there for whoever had a problem. There was always a pot of coffee on and she always had something to eat for whoever stopped by. Her favorite pastime was playing dice and her little buddies. Her door was always open to family and friends. We are going to miss her; she will always have a place in family and friend’s hearts.
She passed away Saturday, August 9, 2014 in Sioux Falls, South Dakota at the age 63 years.
Her brothers, Anthony ‘Butch’ Castaway and Lloyd ‘Bebop’ Larvie, survived Teresa, as well as many nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren, too numerous to name each one. She will always be remembered as Grandma Teresa or Sister.
Teresa was preceded in death by her parents; daughter Lori Lee Larvie; siblings: Eddie Joe Castaway, Phillip Castaway, Jr., Marci Larvie, Pat Larvie, Curtis Larvie and Lester ‘Micky’ Larvie. She will be greatly missed, but her smile and generosity will always be remembered.
