At 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, Sicangu Drifters motorcycle club members started to arrive in numbers at the Red Hills Bar in Carter to participate in the day’s Poker and Dice Run to benefit cancer patients.
Folks inside the bar were playing dice for their chance to win a little cash - which they most often donated back to the cause. Folks outside were just relaxing and catching up with friends. And there were a lot of sweet bikes.
Throughout the day, the riders travelled from stop to stop, on a gorgeous early autumn afternoon, to share the open road and raise money for a worthy cause.
Drifters club president Whitney Jones encouraged everyone to keep posted for future events, whether you ride a motorcycle or a pick-up truck, for a fun day of being with friends and helping cancer patients.
