SWA 19-17 Renovations (2 Units)
Unit 178 & Unit 475 Milk’s Camp
The SWA Corporation is seeking written proposals for renovations of two (2) units in the Eastern Rosebud Reservation Area (Milk’s Camp) beginning August 12, 2019 and ending September 5, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. Bidder can submit for one or both of the units. More than one contract may be awarded on this renovation project.
Scope Of Work
Scope of work is attached to this RFP or you may call Gerald Eagle Bear, Procurement Manager at 605-747-2203 EXT 236 for a copy of Scope of Work for each unit. The selected contractor(s) will be responsible for clean-up and roll-off payment to RST Solid Waste Management.
Requirements To Attach To Proposal:
- Fully completed itemized cost proposal.
- Indian Preference Application (available upon request)
- Attachment #3: Indian Preference in Subcontracting, Employment & Training.
- Attachment #4: Previous Participation Certification
- Attachment #5: Non-Collusive Affidavit
- Attachment #6: Excluded Parties List
Note: All of the RFP documents as detailed above must be submitted or the proposal shall be deemed non-responsive.
Pursuant to Section 7(b) the Indian Self Determination and Education Assistance Act (25 U.S.C.450e (b)) and HUD requirements set forth at 24 CFR 1000.48-1000.54, in awarding this contract, preference shall be given to qualified Indian enterprises and organizations.
All firms, Indian and non-Indian alike, must submit a prequalification application with their proposal.
Interested firms or individuals must submit their proposal in writing to the SWA Corporation, P.O. Box 69, Rosebud, SD 57570 ATTN: Gerald Eagle Bear, Procurement Manager. Proposals must be received by the SWA Corporation no later than 2:00 p.m., (CST) on September 5, 2019. Please mark clearly: “SWA 19-17 RENOVATIONS (2 UNITS)” on front of envelope. Proposals submitted via FACSIMILE will not be accepted or considered.
Any proposal submitted must state that it will remain open for sixty (60) days.
The successful offer must comply with the RST TECRO Ordinance, including any licensing requirements. Contact the RST TECRO Office at 605-747-2322 for further information.
Firms must obtain a Tribal Business License prior to contract signing, including and not limited to used or sales excise tax. Contact the RST Tribal Taxation Office at 605-747-5045 for further information.
Before commencing for work, the company must furnish the SWA Corporation with certificates of insurance showing that minimal insurance is in force and will insure all operations:
Commercial General Liability- Combined single limit for bodily injury and property damage of not less than $300,000 per occurrence.
Workman’s Compensation- In accordance with State Workers Compensation laws.
Automobile Liability- Combined single limit for bodily injury and property damage of not less than $300,000 per occurrence.
Builders’ Risk (fire and extended)-Cost of the total unit.
Right To Reject Any And All Proposals
The SWA reserves the right to accept, reject any and all proposals. No member of the governing body, or persons directly involved with the SWA Corporation will have neither relationship, nor submittal privileges.
