The October 22, 2018 regular meeting of the Todd County School District Board of Education was held in the Curriculum Center of the Administration Building.
Board Vice President Debra Boyd called the meeting to order at 5:30 p.m. All motions carried unanimously, unless otherwise stated.

MEMBERS PRESENT: Vice President Debra Boyd, Member Linda Bordeaux, Member Michelle Allen, Member Shelley Means.
MEMBER ABSENT: President Sandra K Dillon.
ADMINISTRATORS PRESENT: Interim Superintendent Dr Richard Bordeaux, Business Manager Chad Blotsky, Public Relations Coordinator Phyllis Littau, Assistant Elementary Principal Jody Jackson.

Motion by Allen, second by Means to adopt the regular agenda as submitted.

High School Student Council members were sworn in and provided an update of planned activities: President Donte’ Trujillo, Vice President Kassy Hardesty, Secretary Kendra Elk Looks Back, Treasurer Shallon Bordeaux, Sargent-At-Arms Avery White Horse.
The 2018-2019 Emergency School Bus Mutual Assistance Pact from ASBSD was reviewed.

Motion by Bordeaux, second by Means to amend the end time on the 2018-2019 School Calendar as follows:
TC Elementary – 3:00 p.m.
K-8 – 3:00 p.m. (no change)
Middle School – 3:15 p.m.
High School – 3:30 p.m. (no change).
Motion by Means, second by Allen to accept the resignation of Tim Cournoyer Sr., Director of Transportation & Building Maintenance, effective October 19, 2018 with $1,433.00 in liquidated damages.
Motion by Means, second by Bordeaux to accept the resignation of Autumn Shone, Elementary Teacher at He Dog School, effective October 12, 2018 with $3,000.00 in liquidated damages.
Motion by Means, second by Allen to enter into Executive Session for personnel under SDCL 1-25-2, at 5:56 p.m.

Motion by Bordeaux, second by Allen to enter into the following certified contract for the 2018-2019 school year:

Motion by Bordeaux, second by Means to offer the following Supplemental contracts. (Vote 3-0, with Boyd abstaining).
Kellan Herman, Head Boys Basketball Coach at TCHS, $5,481.00.
Promote Joey Boyd from Ninth Grade Boys Basketball Coach to Assistant Boys Basketball Coach.
