Notice of Paper Bid
Notice is hereby given that the St. Francis Indian School will accept sealed bids until 5:00 p.m., October 24, 2018; in the office of the Business Manager, Crazy Horse Administration Building, St. Francis Indian School, St. Francis, S.D., for furnishing American made copier paper to the school. Bids will be opened at a Regular Board meeting by the Board Treasurer and/or Business Manager (Bidders are welcome to attend).
Item: 400 cartons of white copy paper (20# weight equivalent to IBM No.4), 30 cartons of mixed colored copy paper (6 cartons of each color - Golden Rod, Canary, Blue, Green, and Pink), 10 cartons of legal size paper, 10 cartons of large size paper. The paper will be used on Canon Copiers, and the paper shall be 8 1/2 by 11 inches, 8 1/2 by 14 inches, and 11 by 17 inches.
FORMAT of BID (All Bidders are required to fill out the Paper Bid Form):
1. Separately indicate bid cost of paper which complies with Federal Green Procurement requirements** and the bid cost of paper which does not comply, if different.
2. Freight and handling costs must be included in the bid price, please include a per ream and carton price, a sub total bid for each unit, and a grand total of all units.
**RECYCLED CONTENT: Paper to contain at least 30 percent post-consumer fiber. Successful bidder may be required to provide certification documents from the manufacturer showing that products quoted meet or exceed recycled content and specifications as listed.
Indian preference must be requested in writing prior to the bid opening in order for the School Board to consider an offer by an Indian bidder to meet the low bid.
Expected delivery will be during the month of October 2018.
The approval of bid will be made at a meeting of the Board of Directors.
All “regular” vendors are required to comply with the Rosebud Sioux Tribal Commercial Code at time of submittal including a Tribal business license.
