City Of Mission
August 15, 2018
The Mission City Council met in regular session at 6:00 p.m. on August 15, 2018 at the Mission City Office. Members present were: Council Members Littau, Folkers, Story, Guerue, and Tucker. Others present: Kevin Thranow, Keith Lavery, Andrew Red Bear, Daniel Brave, Cole Dubray, and Lloyd Larvie.
Motion by Littau, seconded by Story to approve the agenda as submitted. (All other motions are unanimous unless otherwise stated).
Motion by Littau, seconded by Guerue to approve the minutes of August 1, 2018.
Daniel Brave gave a report of maintenance activities.
Motion by Tucker, seconded by Guerue to approve payment of bills. Tucker opposed to eye exam invoice for Mission Fire Department.
PAYROLL: Finance: $848.26; Police: $3,573.50; Maintenance: $1,528.83; Water: $2,788.46; Sewer: $2,260.46; Mayor and Council: $435.98
BILLS: Supplies: Colonial Research- $5,873.60; Core and Main- $1,971.03; Gus Stop- $51.29; Uline- $502.41; Van Diest- $1,278.10; Ward’s- $518.76 Services: Daniel Peters- $740.00; Oahe Glass- $9,750.00 MVFD: G.F. Buches- $13.44; Harry K Auto- $18.67 Deposit Refunds: Everette Felix- $50.00
Motion by Guerue, seconded by Story for the Fire Chief to sign contract with the State on wildland fires, with the understanding that additional information on insurance will be provided.
There was a lengthy discussion on maintenance work and staffing. Dan Brave submitted his resignation.
Folkers left meeting at 6:25 p.m., was continued by Littau presiding.
The fire department presented the Council with a priority purchase list for the next couple years.
Motion by Story, seconded by Guerue to adjourn at 7:02 p.m.
