Minutes

April 4, 2018

The Mission City Council met in regular session at 6:00 p.m. on April 4, 2018 at the Mission City Office. Members present were: Mayor Herman and Council Members Littau, Folkers, Marshall, Story, Guerue, and Tucker in at 6:17 p.m. Others present Don Pettigrew, Tom Werblow, Barry Bailey, Young Colombe and Mike Wandersee. 

Motion by Story, seconded by Littau to approve the agenda as submitted. (All other motions are unanimous unless otherwise stated). 

Motion by Littau, seconded by Story to approve the minutes of March 19 and 21, 2018

Barry Bailey gave a report of police activities. 

Motion by Story, seconded by Littau to hire Brandon Watson as police officer at $10.00/hr.

Motion by Folkers, seconded by Guerue to approve payment of bills.

Motion by Folkers, seconded by Littau to begin negotiations with Rosebud Water & Sewer to put a memorandum of agreement in place in regards to the City of Mission’s sewer system being eligible for special EPA funding to update and replace the sewer system.

Motion by Littau, seconded by Story to approve engineering agreement with TC Engineering, Inc, for the Main Street Reconstruction Project.

Motion by Folkers, seconded by Story to purchase a 500 gallon fuel tank and stand from Grimm’s Pump for $1,457.25. 

There was discussion about putting more gravel on the unpaved streets.

Motion by Littau, seconded by Folkers to adjourn at 7:04 p.m.
