Notice of Committee Vacancy

Title VII Parent Advisory Committee
Student and Parent Title VII Parent Advisory Committee Members are needed.
According to Title VII By-laws, “if a parent member vacancy occurs, the PAC Chairperson will advertise a ‘Notice of Title VII Parent Advisory Committee (PAC) Vacancy in the District’s legal publication and in the District-wide newsletter. Eligible parents will be invited to self nominate. The appointment to complete the term of vacancy will be recommended by the TCSD Superintendent and approved by the TCSD Board of Education. The three-year terms begins at the start of the 2016-17 School Year.
Teacher and/or student vacancies will be announced via in-house memoranda.
Todd County High School Title VII eligible students may self-nominate for positions on the committee.
Participation requires attendance at four to five evening meetings per year.
Student or Parent Nomination Forms are available at any school in the District, or at the Curriculum Center. Completed forms should be turned in to Todd County School District Director of Curriculum, Instruction and Assessment Jane Shelbourn. Nominations are due by September 15, 2017.
